Prayer

I heard it once said that if you know how to worry, you know how to pray, because praying is just the positive form of worrying. Praying hopes for the best and worrying fears the worst.

Worry causes anxiety and distress. Prayer brings peace and hope.

Once I became a mom, it's CRAZY how many things you can pray about (and worry about). It is so freeing to just turn everything you could possibly worry about into a prayer and move on (and on a positive foot too). You will be amazed at how prayer will become a habit, instead of worry. And to just be praying constantly is so much easier than trying to remember everything to pray for at night before I go to bed. Sometimes I have to laugh at myself too for the silly little things I find myself praying for through out the day. But if i wasn't praying for these little things, I would be worrying about them.

Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Philipians 4:6-7 (The Message)
